Joining the Community

The Summer Embroidery Stitch Along is a little over a week away! I have set up a Community that is free to join and allows us to introduce ourselves, post our progress, and ask questions. The community is on the Podia site where I host my online workshops. I encourage you to head over and join the community.

The process is not complicated, but I have broken down the process step by step below for those who may be unsure. Let me know if you have any questions or issues about joining.

Go to Podia website by clicking the image above. The URL is TheCraftTable.Podia.com.

If you have already set up an account, you can click the Login button; otherwise, click on Community at the top. This screen will appear:

Click on the “Join now” button which will take you to the screen to sign up. As a member of the Community, you have access to the Summer Stitch Along videos saved on this site.

Enter your email address, name, create a password, and then hit the “Create account” button. An automated welcome message should appear on your screen, and you will also receive a confirmation email with a link to login. Login to your account by either hitting the back button on your browser or following the link in your email confirmation.

Once you are logged in, you will see your account button, Community, and Products on the upper RIGHT side of the screen. Clicking either Products or Community will bring up items YOU have “purchased” and the Community YOU have joined. These are different from clicking on items on the upper left/center part of the screen; those list ALL items available.

The above image shows the home page of the Community after you have clicked the “All topics” button under Topics. You can see currently there are two categories of Topics: General Announcements and Summer Stitch Along. I encourage you to click around and familiarize yourself with the Community.

Once the Summer Stitch Along begins, you will find the weekly information posted under that topic. In the meantime, I encourage you to read the Community Guidelines under the General Announcements section, introduce yourself in the Introductions post, and leave a comment on someone else’s post.
