Make a holiday tree while learning the basics of English Paper Piecing. All supplies are included to make the top which can be finished into a wall hanging, pillow, or table runner. Finishes at 18” square.

English paper piecing is a method of patchwork where fabric is wrapped around shapes made of thin paper cardboard or heavy paper. In this workshop, you will learn how to thread and glue baste hexagons and stitch those shapes together to make a holiday tree. The tree then gets appliquéd to the background fabric. Appropriate for beginners and experienced EPPers. Bring your favorite beverage or enjoy our selection of coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks. All supplies are provided which makes this the perfect creative get away.

Supplies: All supplies will be included to make the top. Fabrics may be different from the sample. Your fee includes 3 hours of instruction, fabrics for the holiday tree and background, Sewline Glue Pen, 80wt spool of Aurifil thread, Bohin Milliners needles, and hexagon paper shapes. All experience levels welcome. This workshop is perfect for those who have never done EPP as well as those familiar with English Paper Piecing and are interested in a quick and fun holiday project. We will have coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks; feel free to bring your own beverage and/or snacks.
